New Registrations for Membership open Now!
The next new members registrations for all classes will be 27 October 2025 from either 9.30am or 6.45 pm with the welcome talk to commence at 10.15 am or 7.15pm .

Registration sessions are held regardless of weather. No Dog for session.

SAODC 70th Year of Operation Christmas Get Together

2025 marks a significant milestone for the SAODC, being its 70th year of Operation.
Congratulations to all past and current members in helping SAODC in reaching this important milestone

SAODC will be holding a Christmas get together for current and past committee, instructors, life members and partners on Saturday 15 November 2025 from 4pm. Drop in style. Venue at Northgate. Please contact the club for RSVP and for location - saobediencedogclub@gmail.com.

Classes

Once your puppy/dog is fully vaccinated, members may join the club to work in small classes with our experienced instructors in dog handling/training.

Training then occurs each Tuesday until the end of November. Classes are held morning and evening, where we work through a curriculum designed by our Chief Instructor.

Hot Weather Policy

If the forecast maximum temperature for West Terrace Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) , broadcast at 8am on the day, is 32C or over, morning classes will not be run.

Tuesday evening classes will not run if the West Tce BOM temperature at 5pm is 35C or above.

Training will not occur during wet weather (continuous heavy rain, high winds, thunder, lightning etc).
